Class Rank is a short list of books on Goodreads where readers gather titles about social class or hierarchies. Between them is A Lady’s Lesson in Scandal by Meredith Duran, Marian’s Christmas Wish by Carla Kelly and Belgravia by Julian Fellowes. Those stories usually turn to characters from different social levels and show how those differences form the story
Readers rank books always, but various websites handle that differently. Goodreads counts the average score according to some elements, for instance how many folks voted and how highly they rated it. The official system uses stars of one for “did not like” until five for excellent experience.

Around 3.75 until 3.9 happen marked falls of “excellent” to “average”, which pushes folks more careful about titles in that interval.

Even so ranks do not serve for hints, so everything depends on personal taste.

Browsing the highest fantasies according to notes is a desire of many readers, but websites do not always ease that. Sorting according to ratings for new books would be useful, but commonly it does not work on every page.
