The final note depends on the whole percent score reached in the course. You can consider it as the amount of points got during the whole year, divided by the maximum possible number of points. Do not deal about witchcraft, and teachers do not simply give notes from nothing.
The calculation of final note is simply math. To find it, you can multiply the score of the final examination by means of the weight of that examination (using the weight as a decimal). Later, you add that result to the present note to receive the whole course grade.
How to Calculate Your Final Grade
